An IT Presales Engineer is a technical professional who plays a crucial role in the sales process of IT products and solutions. They work closely with sales teams, customers, and technical teams to understand customer requirements, design solutions, create proposals, and create ballpark estimates to demonstrate the technical aspects of products or services to potential clients. Their main goal is to help drive sales by effectively showcasing how the offered IT solutions can meet the customer's needs and solve their challenges. The job description for an IT Presales Engineer typically includes the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Haves:
- Customer Needs Assessment: Collaborate with sales teams and customers to understand their technical requirements and pain points, gathering information about their existing IT infrastructure, business goals, and challenges. And provide the ballpark estimate of the product development.
- Blockchain Experience: Must have 2+ years of experience in assessing blockchain projects
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create detailed and accurate proposals, including technical specifications, scope of work, pricing, and implementation timelines. Ensure that proposals align with customer needs and expectations.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's IT products, services, and technologies. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Customization: Tailor solutions to fit specific customer needs, considering factors such as scalability, integration, security, and performance.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support during the sales cycle, addressing customer inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and offering solutions to potential challenges.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, software, and hardware technologies. Proficiency in various operating systems, databases, cloud services, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze customer needs, identify challenges, and propose effective solutions.
- Sales Acumen: A good grasp of sales processes and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives to drive sales.
